Yogyakarta public transport schedules released for July 2026
Indonesia's Yogyakarta region announced detailed timetables and fares for its commuter rail and bus services in late July 2026.
The KRL (electric commuter rail) between Solo and Yogyakarta will operate 12 trips on Friday, 24 July, with the first departure at 05:00 WIB and the last at 20:42 WIB. All journeys are priced at Rp8,000 per ride and tickets can be paid via e‑money or QRIS.
The KA Prameks regional train linking Yogyakarta’s Tugu station with Kutoarjo will run multiple daily services in both directions, also charging a flat fare of Rp8,000. Schedules are available through the KAI Access app and via QR code or multi‑trip cards.
Trans Jogja bus routes have been expanded, now covering central and peripheral districts with fares remaining low (Rp3,600 for adults, Rp60 for students, Rp2,700 for monthly passes). The service aims to reduce traffic congestion and emissions while offering affordable mobility options.
