SIM Keliling Expands Mobile License Renewal Across Jakarta and Yogyakarta

Indonesia’s mobile driver’s‑license renewal service, known as SIM Keliling, continues to operate in multiple regions, allowing holders of SIM A and SIM C to extend validity without visiting a Satpas office. The program runs on weekdays in designated public venues and offers evening or weekend slots to accommodate workers.

In Jakarta, the service is available at five sites on Monday: Grand Cakung Mall (East), LTC Glodok (West), Universitas Trilogi parking (South), Mall Ciputra (Central), and the Pos Lapangan Banteng office (Central). Yogyakarta hosts SIM Keliling at Alun‑Alun Kidul (morning), Jogja City Mall and Ramai Mall (morning), with night‑time service also at Alun‑Alun Kidul on Saturdays. Sleman provides daytime bus stops, a Saturday night service at SCH Mall, and a Mal Pelayanan Publik (MPP) with regular hours. Kulon Progo and other districts (Bogor, Bekasi, Bandung) have similar rotating locations, including Satpas offices and public malls.

The renewal fee is Rp 80,000 for SIM A and C (Rp 30,000 for SIM D). Applicants must bring the original KTP, the current SIM, photocopies, a health certificate, and a psychological‑test result. The initiative aims to reduce queues at Satpas offices and streamline license administration for drivers across the country.
