Yogyakarta transit services offer airport and tourism routes

Public transportation services in Yogyakarta are providing various transit options for travelers on Sunday, October 11, 2026.

The National Strategic Tourism Area (KSPN) shuttle service offers two main routes from the Malioboro area to Gunungkidul destinations. Travelers can take a route to Obelix Sea View for Rp12,000 or to Pantai Drini for Rp26,000. The Obelix Sea View route passes through Simpang Bakulan and Parangtritis, while the Pantai Drini route travels via Gembira Loka Zoo, Siyonoharjo, and Pantai Baron.

Additionally, the Yogyakarta International Airport (YIA) train service is operating 24 total trips for the day. There are 12 trips scheduled from YIA to Tugu Station, with departures starting at 04:20 WIB and the final trip at 19:16 WIB. Conversely, 12 trips run from Tugu Station to YIA, beginning at 05:16 WIB and concluding with the last departure at 20:55 WIB. The airport train also serves Wates Station to assist mobility in the Kulonprogo region.
