Yogyakarta's Kulonprogo, Sleman and Gunungkidul police roll out mobile SIM renewal services in June 2026
The police departments of Kulonprogo, Sleman and Gunungkidul regencies in Indonesia are offering mobile driver’s license (SIM) renewal services throughout June 2026. The programs, known as SIM Keliling, provide flexible venues such as village halls, public service malls, police stations and Saturday night locations, allowing residents to extend SIM A and SIM C without traveling to the main Satpas offices.
Kulonprogo’s schedule includes SIMMADE visits on Tuesdays and Thursdays, a Saturday evening "Simenor Ngabuburit" service, and daily operations at a public service mall. Sleman combines a central Satpas schedule with mobile stops in Candibinangun, Cangkringan and Mitra 10, plus a Saturday night "Simeru" session at the city hall. Gunungkidul’s itinerary features SIMMADE at village halls on Tuesdays and Thursdays, market‑based SIMPITU and SIM Station services mid‑week, and Saturday night operations at a market parking area.
All three regencies charge Rp80,000 for SIM A, B1/B2 and C renewals and Rp30,000 for SIM D, excluding health, psychology tests and insurance. Applicants must bring a photocopy of their e‑KTP, the existing SIM, a health certificate and a psychology report. The mobile services aim to reduce queues, improve convenience for workers, and strengthen police presence in local communities.
