MLB players reach major career milestones
Several Major League Baseball players reached significant career milestones recently. Mexican reliever Andrés Muñoz recorded his 100th save with the Seattle Mariners, becoming only the fourth pitcher in franchise history to reach the century mark, joining Kazuhiro Sasaki, Edwin Díaz, and J.J. Putz.
Dominican infielder Willy Adames hit his 200th career home run with a two-run blast for the San Francisco Giants against the Cleveland Guardians. Despite the milestone, the Giants lost the game 5-2.
Venezuelan catcher Gabriel Moreno of the Arizona Diamondbacks has shown strong offensive form, including a grand slam against the Boston Red Sox and extending a 13-game hitting streak. Meanwhile, Kansas City Royals infielder Maikel García faced setbacks after suffering a left hamstring strain, which may lead to him returning to the injured list shortly after his recent reactivation.
