Yojuhei Ninpucho to receive nationwide 4K revival screening in Japan

The legendary period action anime film ‘Yojuhei Ninpucho’ will receive its first nationwide 4K revival screening starting September 4, 2026. This two-week limited engagement is part of a revival project by the movie and anime review service Filmarks.

To commemorate the release, a special pre-screening event is scheduled for August 29, 2026, at Ikebukuro HUMAX Cinemas. The event will feature guest appearances by director Yoshiaki Kawajiri, animation director Yutaka Minowa, and promotional ambassador Mafia Kajita.

Additionally, a social media campaign has been launched offering group tickets to the Samurai Ninja Museum locations in Kyoto, Asakusa, and Shinjuku, allowing fans to experience ninja culture in person.
