Yokkaichi City to host Hazu Fureai Fireworks Festival in October

The Hazu Fureai Fireworks Festival is scheduled to take place in Yokkaichi City on Saturday, October 3, 2026. The display will run from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM near the north side of Hazu Kita Elementary School. This year's event is expected to feature large-scale 5-号 (size 5) fireworks.

Organizers have issued several advisories for attendees, including requests to avoid bringing vehicles and to refrain from parking on roads, agricultural paths, or at commercial facilities. Visitors are encouraged to arrive on foot. Due to the nature of the venue, no public toilets will be available, and traffic restrictions are expected between 6:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
