Yokogawa Electric partners with BuyCo for container transport SaaS

Yokogawa Electric Corporation has entered into a distribution agreement with the French company BuyCo to provide its container transport management Software as a Service (SaaS) solution. The partnership aims to support companies, particularly in the materials and chemical industries, by optimizing end-to-end supply chains.

By integrating BuyCo’s Transportation Management System (TMS) with Yokogawa’s expertise in manufacturing and process industries, the initiative seeks to address challenges such as rising transportation costs, geopolitical risks, and stricter environmental regulations. The platform allows for centralized management of container transport data, enabling better shipment planning, real-time tracking, and visibility into greenhouse gas emissions.

This collaboration is intended to help industries manage the complexities of global logistics, including hazardous material regulations and demand fluctuations, by connecting production and logistics operations more effectively.
