Yokogawa launches Industrial Cyber Resilience Center in Singapore
Yokogawa Engineering Asia has launched the Industrial Cyber Resilience Center (ICRC) at its Singapore office. The facility will serve as a regional hub for clients across Southeast Asia, Oceania, and Taiwan.
The ICRC aims to address the evolving cybersecurity landscape, where attackers increasingly use artificial intelligence and automation to exploit system vulnerabilities. The center focuses on the specific challenges of integrating Information Technology (IT) with Operational Technology (OT), noting that traditional IT-focused response procedures often fail to meet the unique security and continuity requirements of OT systems.
The center utilizes a structured framework to strengthen cyber resilience through three primary stages: assessing maturity and capability gaps, validating and strengthening capabilities, and developing a skilled workforce through specialized training programs designed to align with industry regulations.
