Yokohama Excellence secures three consecutive B. LEAGUE ONE victories

Yokohama Excellence has secured a three-game winning streak in the B. LEAGUE ONE 2026-27 season.

In their most recent match, the team defeated Rising Zephyr Fukuoka with a score of 89-67. Despite roster challenges, including the absence of Elijah Williams due to poor conditioning, head coach Ryuji Kawai noted that the team improved through the efforts of players like Shake Keita and Benjamin Lawson.

This follows a successful two-game sweep against Fukui Brex, where Yokohama Excellence won both Game 1 (106-87) and Game 2 (105-74). Coach Kawai emphasized that while the team has faced early-season instability and issues with game intensity, the roster is developing the depth necessary to maintain offensive strength regardless of player rotations.
