Yokohama Excellence to offer childcare service during home games
Yokohama Excellence, a professional basketball club, has announced the implementation of ‘Mirai Kids,’ a short-term childcare service available during home games. The initiative aims to support parents by providing a safe environment for children to be looked after while their guardians watch the matches.
The service will be held at the Yokohama BUNTAI arena for specific home games scheduled between November 2026 and March 2027. It is designed for children aged 1.5 to 6 years old, with a capacity of up to three children per day. The service runs from 20 minutes before tip-off until the end of the game, costing 1,000 yen per child. Yokohama Interbreath will serve as the childcare cooperation organization.
