Yokohama Iekei Ramen Obara-ya Kaji to close in Hakodate

Yokohama Iekei Ramen Obara-ya Kaji, located in the Kaji district of Hakodate, Hokkaido, is scheduled to close on October 4, 2026. The establishment, which opened in 2021 as the second location for the brand, was known for its thick, creamy soup made from selected pork and chicken parts.

While the Kaji branch is closing, the brand's Showa location on Route 5 will remain operational. The closure announcement also noted that a new ramen shop is expected to open at the site, though specific details have not yet been released.
