Yokohama Minatomirai Railway unveils Pokémon Pokopia themed train

The Yokohama Minatomirai Railway Company and The Pokémon Company have partnered to promote the first installment of the Pokémon Pokopia Expansion Pass, titled “Bubbly Basin.” A Y500‑series train on the Minatomirai Line will be wrapped in artwork from the game and will run from 2 August to 25 September 2026 across the Tokyo–Yokohama rail network. Inside, advertisements feature Pokémon from the expansion and a Metamon animation appears on the destination displays.

From 3 August 2026, the ceiling of Minatomirai Station will also be specially decorated to extend the “Bubbly Basin” theme throughout the station, creating a fully immersive experience for commuters and visitors.
