Yokohama Museum of Art launches Marie Antoinette Style exhibition with new merchandise and celebrity ambassador

The Yokohama Museum of Art will host the "Marie Antoinette Style" exhibition from August 1 to November 23, 2026. The show features around 200 items, including dresses, jewelry, furniture and paintings, many on display in Japan for the first time. A special shop offers original goods inspired by the queen’s aesthetic, such as collaboration umbrellas with Ashiya Rosaburan, tote bags from Maison de Fleur, and a limited‑edition tea‑box from Nina’s Marie Antoinette. All items are limited‑quantity and require a valid exhibition ticket for entry.

Actress Ayami Nakajo appeared at a press event wearing a linen white dress and serves as the exhibition’s ambassador. She praised Marie Antoinette’s influence on fashion and lifestyle, recorded an audio guide, and encouraged visitors of all ages to enjoy the display. Nakajo’s involvement adds a high‑profile promotional boost to the cultural event.
