Yokohama Rubber secures new OE tire contracts with Nissan models

Yokohama Rubber has announced new original equipment (OE) tire supply agreements with Nissan for two different vehicle models in different markets.

In China, Yokohama Rubber is supplying its ‘ADVAN dB V553’ premium comfort tires to Dongfeng Nissan Passenger Vehicle Co., Ltd. for the new ‘N6’ plug-in hybrid sedan, which began sales in December 2025. The N6 features a 1.5L engine paired with a 155kW motor and a 21.1kWh battery, offering an EV range of 180km. The tires carry the company’s ‘E+’ mark, indicating suitability for electric vehicles.

In Japan, Yokohama Rubber is supplying its ‘ADVAN V61’ flagship summer tires for the new Nissan Elgrand premium minivan. The Elgrand is equipped with third-generation ‘e-POWER’ technology and ‘e-4ORCE’ electric four-wheel control. These supply agreements align with Yokohama Rubber’s ‘Yokohama Transformation 2026’ medium-term management plan, which focuses on maximizing the ratio of high-value-added products through brands like ADVAN and GEOLANDAR.
