Yokosuka City to implement pre-payment system for waste collection fees

Yokosuka City will transition its waste disposal fee system from a post-payment method using payment slips to a pre-payment system using application tickets starting October 1, 2026.

Application tickets for bulky waste collection, simple flush/temporary toilets, and small animal cremation will be available for purchase starting September 1, 2026. These tickets can be obtained at the Waste Counter in the City Hall Annex, various administrative centers, local post offices, and Seven-Eleven stores for bulky waste collection specifically.
