Yomiuri Giants defeat Chunichi Dragons as Martinez hits 250 saves

The Yomiuri Giants defeated the Chunichi Dragons 5-3 at the Tokyo Dome, narrowing the gap with the league-leading Hanshin Tigers to 1.5 games.

During the match, Giants pitcher Raidel Martinez achieved a significant milestone by recording his 250th career save, making him only the sixth player in NPB history and the first foreign player to reach the mark. Acting manager Hideki Hashigami and pitching coach Toshiya Sugiuchi praised Martinez for his consistency and preparation.
