Yomiuri Giants pitchers Yamazaki and Togo prepare for upcoming starts

Yomiuri Giants pitcher Iori Yamazaki is expected to return to action on August 23 in a farm league game against Nippon Ham. This marks his first appearance since being removed from the roster on August 24 due to right shoulder issues. After undergoing rehabilitation and training in the bullpen, Yamazaki stated he is no longer experiencing pain.

Additionally, Giants pitcher Shosei Togo is scheduled to start against Hiroshima on August 22. Togo aims to redeem himself following a previous outing where he allowed nine runs. He noted that he has been working on his physical balance and the precision of his pitches to prepare for this critical game in the team's championship race.
