YOMOGI BASE and Onko Chishin exhibit at National Medicinal Herb Festival

YOMOGI BASE, a mugwort cultivation and product company based in Suwa, Nagano, participated in the National Medicinal Herb Festival in Hida City, Gifu, alongside the Kyoto-based self-care brand Onko Chishin.

During the two-day event, which featured approximately 150 organizations, the collaborators engaged with nearly 100 visitors. A recurring observation among attendees was a lack of awareness regarding the connection between mugwort and moxibustion (okyu).

YOMOGI BASE, led by acupuncturist Hiroki Yazawa, focuses on cultivating mugwort for products like lotions and incense. Onko Chishin, led by Yuki Takahashi, specializes in delivering moxibustion kits designed for daily self-care. The collaboration aimed to bridge the gap between the cultivation of medicinal plants and their practical use in wellness routines.
