Yomra Municipality opens new daycare center in Trabzon

Yomra Municipality has officially opened a new daycare center in Trabzon, marking a first among district municipalities in the region. The facility, which began construction 10 months ago, is expected to serve 60 children in its initial phase.

The opening ceremony was attended by various political figures and local officials, including Yeni Parti Deputy Chairman Deniz Yavuzyılmaz and Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Ahmet Yüksel Gülay. Yomra Mayor Mustafa Bıyık noted that the teachers for the center were selected through a lottery conducted in the presence of a notary to ensure fairness.

Attendees praised the initiative, with local leaders highlighting the project as an exemplary service for the district and the country.
