Yomra Municipality seals Cazılar Deresi facility

Yomra Municipality has officially sealed the Cazılar Deresi facility in the Özdil neighborhood of Trabzon, halting its commercial activities. The municipality stated that the decision was not based on personal bias but was a legal necessity following more than 20 written complaints received through CİMER, the Governor's Office, the District Governor's Office, and the Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Fire Department.

Investigations revealed that while the facility held a business license dating back to October 8, 1997, under the Özdil Municipality, unauthorized additions and structural deficiencies had been made to the premises over time. Despite being notified to rectify these issues, the owners failed to comply, leading to the sealing of the facility.

Yomra Mayor Mustafa Bıyık noted that the complaints often originated from individuals known to the owners. He emphasized that the municipality is obligated to act within the framework of the law and that the facility may resume operations once all legal requirements and structural deficiencies are addressed.
