Yona Faedda of Collectif Némésis Receives Escalating Death Threats in France

Yona Faedda, spokesperson for the anti‑extremism group Collectif Némésis, has been targeted by death threats for about five months. The messages, sent by individuals citing Islamist motives, reference past attacks in Paris and explicitly threaten Faedda and her family, even providing personal contact details and photographs of their homes.

Faedda filed a police complaint in February but says the response has been slow and ineffective. She has publicly appealed to Interior Minister Laurent Nunez, stating that the threats are becoming increasingly violent and that she feels terrorized. To protect herself and her relatives, she is taking additional security measures at her residence.
