Yongin Independent Living Center reviews disability job program

The Yongin Independent Living Center held a second meeting for participants of its rights-centered job program, a project funded by Gyeonggi Province for 2026. The meeting included 16 attendees, including participants, guardians, and staff, to discuss program outcomes and future directions.

Participants reported that the program has improved their self-esteem and social participation by allowing them to engage in advocacy activities, such as inspecting local facilities and environments. Participants noted that the program provides both income and a comfortable working environment compared to previous employment experiences.
