Yongin Special City Council holds meeting with policy support officers

The Yongin Special City Council held a communication meeting on the 23rd to listen to the difficulties faced by policy support officers and seek ways to improve the efficiency of legislative activities.

During the meeting, which was attended by Council Chair Jang Jeong-sun and 19 participants, including 15 policy support officers, attendees discussed strengthening professionalism, defining roles, improving work environments, and clarifying cooperation systems between departments. The discussion focused on ensuring officers can concentrate on core duties such as reviewing policies, auditing administrative affairs, and enacting or amending ordinances.

Chair Jang Jeong-sun expressed gratitude to the officers for their support and emphasized the importance of finding solutions to field difficulties to create a stable and rational working environment. The council plans to review the opinions presented during the meeting to improve work cooperation systems and working conditions.
