Yongjing Township to host nursery industry concert

The Yongjing Township Office, in collaboration with the Changhua County Babao Canal Cultural Association, will host the ‘Yongjing Nursery Starry Concert’ on September 12 at the Yongjing Gardening and Landscape Industry Park. The event aims to promote the local nursery and horticulture industry, which is a major economic pillar for the region.

The concert features a lineup of performers, including YOYO台KIWI, Long Qian-yu, Yang Zhe, and others. In addition to the musical performances, the event will include a food market and a charity initiative where attendees can exchange specific paper receipts for refreshments, with the proceeds donated to charitable organizations.

Township Mayor Wei Shuo-wei noted that despite a lack of funding from the county government and local representatives, the event is being organized through private enterprise sponsorships and subsidies from the Ministry of Culture’s Film, Video, and Pop Music Industry Bureau. The concert is intended to increase the visibility of Yongjing as a central hub for nursery production in Taiwan.
