Yoo Hae-jin discusses upcoming film ‘Assassins’

Actor Yoo Hae-jin discussed his upcoming film ‘Assassins’ (암살자들) and reflected on the success of his recent project ‘The Man Living with the King’. In an interview, Yoo noted that ‘Assassins’, directed by Heo Jin-ho, is scheduled for release on August 23. The film is based on a true story involving the investigation into the 1974 assassination attempt on the First Lady of South Korea.

Yoo, who plays a detective named Cheol-gu, expressed both excitement and a sense of responsibility following his record-breaking cumulative audience numbers in South Korea. He also shared that colleagues, including director Jang Hang-jun and writer Kim Eun-hee, have expressed strong interest in the new film and plan to attend the VIP premiere. Additionally, Yoo mentioned inviting actor Park Ji-hoon and his co-star Kim Min to the event.
