Yoo Hye-won files defamation lawsuit against Kim Ji-min

Influencer and actress Yoo Hye-won has filed a criminal complaint against Kim Ji-min, a former participant of the show ‘Heart Signal 4’, for defamation. The legal action was taken at the Gangnam Police Station in Seoul.

Yoo’s legal representative, attorney Kim Bum-sik of Law Firm Daeryeon, stated that the lawsuit follows the spread of false information regarding Yoo’s private life through social media and online communities. The dispute reportedly stems from a June social media post by Kim, which suggested that Yoo was receiving ‘sponsorship’ from a famous singer and producer while dating a basketball player.

Yoo’s legal team has denied these allegations, asserting that the claims are entirely false and have caused significant damage to her reputation and social standing. The legal team emphasized that Yoo and Kim do not have a personal relationship. Following the criminal investigation, Yoo intends to pursue civil damages for the harm caused by the dissemination of these rumors.
