York and Dublin announce Halloween event programmes

Dublin City Council has unveiled a diverse programme of Halloween festivities across the capital. The schedule includes fireworks displays, haunted attractions, and community festivals in various neighbourhoods such as Darndale, Finglas, and Ballymun. Several events, including The Liberties Haunt and Finglas Fright Night, will offer sensory-friendly or neurodiverse-accessible sessions to accommodate different needs.

In York, the seventh annual York Ghost Week features the return of the Little Ghost Hunt, where 250 handmade ceramic ghosts are hidden throughout the city. Additionally, York is hosting various seasonal activities, including a candlelight Mouse Hunt at Holy Trinity Church, late-night shopping events at the York Designer Outlet, and various performances and displays.
