York Pride 2026 draws thousands for LGBTQIA+ celebration in York, UK

York Pride 2026 took place on 30 May at Knavesmire, York, featuring a parade, music, cabaret and family entertainment. The free event showcased performances by Nadine Coyle, Joe McElderry, Urban Cookie Collective and drag acts such as Michael Marouli and Victoria Scone, alongside a stage for the musical Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

The City of York Council marked its support with a visible presence, offering information on local services and wellbeing support. Councillor Katie Lomas said, “York Pride is a fantastic celebration that brings together residents and visitors to recognise and celebrate the diversity of our city… we remain committed… to supporting LGBTQIA+ residents, communities and organisations throughout the year.”
