Yoselin García Rodríguez appointed Dominican consul general in Germany

Vice President Raquel Peña, acting as head of the Dominican Executive Power, has appointed Yoselin García Rodríguez as the new Consul General of the Dominican Republic in Hamburg, Germany.

The appointment was formalized through Decree No. 715-26, signed on October 14, 2026. The decision was made while Peña was exercising constitutional powers of the Presidency. The decree, which was published in the Official Gazette on October 21, 2026, directs the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Chamber of Accounts, the Comptroller General of the Republic, and the Ministry of Public Administration to execute the order.
