Manga artist Yoshihiro Togashi has provided a progress update on his series ‘Hunter x Hunter’. In a recent social media post, Togashi shared a photo of a yellow envelope labeled ‘H x H Chapter 427’ to signal the completion of new manuscript pages.

The post gained significant attention from fans due to the presence of a Sanrio character, Pom Pom Purin, placed on the envelope. This marks another instance of Togashi showing interest in the character, following a previous post featuring an illustration of the character dressed as the series' antagonist, Chrollo.

In a separate instance of fan engagement, a convenience store in Japan drew attention for using the fictional ‘Hunter alphabet’ on a notice announcing the end of a ‘Hunter x Hunter’ lottery promotion. The creative use of the series' unique script went viral on social media, garnering over 90,000 likes as fans attempted to decode the message.
