Manga author Yoshihiro Togashi has provided an update on the progress of 'Hunter x Hunter', announcing that the background specification documents for chapter 429 are complete. In a social media post, Togashi shared a photo of an envelope featuring a sketch of the character Killua.

The illustration has sparked significant discussion among fans, with many noting the more mature appearance of the character. While the series is currently focused on the Succession Contest arc involving Kurapika and the Phantom Troupe, the new artwork has fueled speculation regarding Killua's potential return to a more central role in the narrative.

Togashi also noted that he is facing challenges with the upcoming chapter, specifically citing the large number of characters involved rather than the length of the script. The series, which began in 1998, has surpassed 100 million copies in circulation.
