Yoshimoto comedians promote fire brigade recruitment in Tokyo

Comedians from Yoshimoto Kogyo participated in the ‘Learn with the Fire Brigade! Midsummer Tokyo SHOW 防祭’ event held at Ebisu Garden Place in Tokyo on August 29. The event was organized to promote the appeal of local fire brigades and raise awareness for disaster prevention ahead of Disaster Prevention Day on September 1.

Several comedy acts were appointed as ‘Fire Brigade Recruitment Promotion Supporters,’ including Kirin (Tamura Yu and Kawashima Akira), Panther (Ogata Takahiro), Magical Lovely (Noda Crystal), Yokozawa Natsuko, Kurenai Shoga (Kumamoto Pro-wrestling and Inada Miki), and Aoki Macho.

During the event, Kirin members noted it was a rare occasion for them to appear together at an event. Noda Crystal remarked on the physical benefits of training, while Kumamoto Pro-wrestling of Kurenai Shoga joked about the flattering appearance of the fire brigade uniforms. The supporters aim to use their platform to encourage community involvement in local fire services.
