Yoshitomo Nara's First Solo Show at David Zwirner Opens in New York in October

Japanese contemporary artist Yoshitomo Nara will present his first major solo exhibition in New York at the David Zwirner gallery. The show is scheduled to open on October 29 and will run through December 12.

The exhibition will occupy Zwirner’s two Manhattan spaces on 19th and 20th Streets in Chelsea. New paintings, drawings and early works selected by Nara himself will be shown at the 20th‑Street venue, while the 19th‑Street space will display 13 enlarged bronze sculptures created in 2024, alongside recent sculptures and other recent works.

The show marks Nara’s first major solo presentation in New York in nearly a decade, following his recent move to David Zwirner after previously being represented by Pace and Blum galleries.
