Yoshitomo Tsutsugo leads Yokohama DeNA BayStars resurgence with home run streak
Yoshitomo Tsutsugo, the 34-year-old slugger for the Yokohama DeNA BayStars, is experiencing a significant resurgence in the NPB. Following a period of struggle after his return from the United States, Tsutsugo has revitalized his performance by correcting technical issues with his lower body and weight distribution discovered during training in the minor leagues.
Tsutsugo recently achieved a four-game home run streak, including a walk-off home run and a decisive solo shot against Hiroshima. His improved ability to handle inside pitches has also enhanced his effectiveness against outside pitches. As he continues his streak, he is approaching a club-tying record of five consecutive games with a home run for the DeNA BayStars.
