Yoshiyuki Tomino exhibition to be held at Odawara Castle

An exhibition titled ‘The Beginning Point of Yoshiyuki Tomino — Odawara to the Universe —’ is scheduled to take place in November 2026 at Odawara Castle and Sanmaru Hall. The event explores the creative origins of the renowned animation director, known for works such as ‘Mobile Suit Gundam’, ‘Zambot 3’, and ‘Ideon’.

The exhibition focuses on Tomino’s connection to his hometown of Odawara. Planned activities include AR photo projects, film screenings of his works at Odawara Cinema, talk events, and the sale of original merchandise.

Odawara Castle’s 4th-floor exhibition room will host a pre-exhibition starting November 6, 2026, while the main event at Sanmaru Hall begins on November 23, 2026. Tickets are expected to go on sale in mid-September.
