Yotam Ottolenghi launches exclusive olive oil at Waitrose

Chef Yotam Ottolenghi has partnered with Citizens of Soil to launch an extra virgin olive oil available exclusively at Waitrose. The product, which launched on August 10, 2026, is sourced from small-scale family growers in the Tuscan and Umbrian hills of Italy.

The oil is produced using regenerative farming practices, with olives being harvested and milled within hours to maintain freshness and quality. Designed specifically as a finishing oil for drizzling rather than for frying, the product features notes of artichoke bitterness and almond. It is sold in 500ml bottles with a recommended retail price of £24.
