Yotsanan Wongsawat denies Kla Tham Party joining government coalition
Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Yotsanan Wongsawat, stated there have been no signals that the Kla Tham Party intends to join the government coalition following its departure from the opposition whip.
Yotsanan emphasized that the Pheu Thai Party remains focused on its commitments to the five ministries it currently oversees, specifically those dedicated to human capital development and agriculture. Regarding potential cabinet reshuffles or the inclusion of new parties which might reduce the number of ministerial seats for existing members, Yotsanan noted that such decisions fall under the direct authority of the Prime Minister.
Addressing the stability of the current government, Yotsanan expressed confidence in its current standing. He also commented on the importance of the creative economy and cultural capital, noting that these are vital for the country and should be addressed across all ministries.
