Thailand's National Anti-Corruption Commission has released the asset and liability disclosure for Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, Yotsanan Wongsawat. Upon his appointment as a list MP for the Pheu Thai Party, Yotsanan and his spouse, Nantakan Silpaseveekul, reported combined assets totaling approximately 347.8 million baht against debts of 375,580 baht. Yotsanan's personal assets include 28 plots of land across several provinces, 16 bank accounts, and luxury items such as Patek Philippe and Rolex watches.
Separately, Yotsanan addressed political speculation regarding the Klatham Party leaving the opposition. He stated that the Pheu Thai Party remains focused on its responsibilities across five assigned ministries and will continue to fulfill its duties. He noted that any changes to the cabinet or the inclusion of new parties would fall under the direct authority of the Prime Minister. Meanwhile, Industry Minister Varawut Silpa-archa of the Bhumjaithai Party remarked that political developments in Thailand are unpredictable and that the current government coalition maintains sufficient stability.
