Younes Taha excluded from Morocco national team squad

Morocco national team coach Mohamed Ouahbi has excluded FC Twente forward Younes Taha from the squad for upcoming Africa Cup qualification matches against Gabon and Lesotho. Despite a strong season and a recent contract extension with FC Twente through 2029, Taha was not selected for the final roster.

Separately, former coach Ron Jans has suggested Younes Taha as a potential profile for FC Groningen to eventually succeed striker Thom van Bergen. However, a transfer is currently considered unlikely given Taha's established role as a starter at FC Twente.
