Young Boys coach Gerardo Seoane hospitalized with inner ear inflammation

Young Boys Bern head coach Gerardo Seoane was hospitalized after experiencing dizziness and general malaise. The 47-year-old was diagnosed with an inflammation of the vestibular nerve in the inner ear.

Seoane missed his team's 2-0 home victory against FC St. Gallen, watching the match from home instead of the sidelines. Assistant coach Matteo Vanetta, supported by Patrick Schnarwiler and the coaching staff, managed the team during his absence.

The club confirmed that Seoane was discharged on Saturday afternoon and is currently recovering. He is expected to resume his professional duties sometime during the coming week.
