Young Boys sign Herba Guirassy from FC Nantes
Young Boys have officially signed French forward Herba Guirassy from FC Nantes. The 20-year-old, a French Under-21 international, has joined the Swiss club on a four-year contract that runs until the summer of 2030.
Reports indicate the transfer fee is approximately 5 million euros. Guirassy, who joined the Nantes academy at age 13, leaves France after making 46 official appearances and scoring 7 goals for the club. He is expected to serve as a replacement for departing player Joël Monteiro.
In related squad movements, Young Boys also announced that 17-year-old defensive talent Olivier Mambwa has been loaned to FC Thun. To secure his long-term future, the club has extended Mambwa's contract until 2028.
