Young Buck reveals failed attempt to reunite G-Unit

Rapper Young Buck has revealed that his recent attempt to reunite the hip hop group G-Unit was unsuccessful. In an interview with Diverse Mentality, Buck stated that he reached out to former groupmates Lloyd Banks and Tony Yayo to discuss a potential comeback, but noted that the effort ‘didn’t go the way it was planned.’

Buck expressed that the members appear to be focused on their individual lives and paths. Despite the failed reunion attempt and a long history of public feuds—most notably with group leader 50 Cent—Buck maintained a sense of gratitude for the group. He stated that his career would not have reached its current level without the exposure provided by G-Unit and offered respect to 50 Cent for the opportunities provided during his tenure.

The group's history includes a period of intense conflict following Buck's departure in 2008, though the members briefly performed together again in 2014 before relations fractured once more.
