Young football talents sign first professional contracts
Several young football prospects have signed their first professional contracts with major European clubs.
Enzo Dos Santos, a 17-year-old Luxembourg international midfielder, has signed a long-term deal with Borussia Dortmund. Following his arrival at the club in January 2025, Dos Santos progressed through the U17 and U19 ranks and participated in the club's pre-season tour in Japan. While the exact duration of his contract was not officially disclosed by the club, reports indicate the agreement runs until June 30, 2029.
In France, 17-year-old Belgian-Congolese defender Jediaél Mbambi has signed his first professional contract with AS Saint-Étienne. Mbambi, who previously played for Antwerp, joined the Saint-Étienne reserve team and has already participated in training sessions with the first team. His new contract is set to run until June 2029.
