Young Island Festival in Bacău partners with Carrefour to showcase Romanian wine and host international acts

Carrefour România joined the Young Island Festival on the Insula de Agrement in Bacău as a partner, launching its "Deschidem Vinul Românesc" programme at the new Wine Island stand. Together with the local winery Caii de la Letea, the retailer offered festival‑goers tastings of Romanian wines such as Geneza and Băiatul în Iarbă, plus wine‑based cocktails and a relaxation zone.

The festival, held from 30 July to 2 August 2026, continued with a four‑stage line‑up of both Romanian and international artists. Headliners included Speak, Inna, Pascal Jr., Supernova and IAN on the opening night, followed by Markus Schulz, Mohombi, Pavlo Vici, CandyBoii, Double Edd & Lorda and others on subsequent days. Attendees also enjoyed food‑court options, interactive areas and spaces for rest between performances.
