Young Researchers of Serbia to host nationwide environmental volunteer actions

Young Researchers of Serbia is organizing a nationwide volunteer initiative on September 12 and 13 to promote cleaner and more organized natural environments. The campaign will take place across 15 different locations throughout Serbia, including protected areas, mountains, riverbanks, lakes, canyons, and urban parks.

Activities are tailored to the specific needs of each site. Volunteers will engage in tasks such as cleaning up waste, arranging picnic areas and green spaces, tidying shorelines, and restoring neglected areas or natural habitats. Specific locations include Palić, Fruška Gora, Golija, Kraljevo, Stolovi mountain, Užice, Vlasina, and the Crnice river canyon.

The project, titled ‘Volunteers for Nature’, is conducted by Young Researchers of Serbia in partnership with Tim 42 and Environmental Protection Engineers, with financial support from the European Union.
