Young Turkish wrestlers hold training camp in Edirne

Under the coordination of the Turkish Wrestling Federation (TGF), 40 national wrestlers under the age of 14 are participating in a training camp at the Türkiye Olympic Preparation Center (TOHM) in Edirne. The athletes are training to achieve success in upcoming international competitions, including European and World championships.

National team coach Nasip Ekelik stated that the Ministry of Youth and Sports and the federation are providing all necessary resources to develop the infrastructure and support young athletes. The young wrestlers are citing former national wrestler Yasemin Adar Yiğit, a two-time world and seven-time European champion, as a primary role model for their professional development.
