Youssef Rama Abdelaziz murder case in Crema moves to suspect interrogation

On 11 July, 19‑year‑old Egyptian Youssef Rama Abdelaziz was stabbed to death near the Conad supermarket on Viale Repubblica in Crema, Lombardy. Police have arrested three men – 25‑year‑old Senegalese Pape Mamadou Ndiaye, 23‑year‑old Albanian Bajron Hoxha and 24‑year‑old Egyptian Ahmed El Hadad – and charged them with conspiracy to murder. After the attack the suspects fled on foot and later by car; a knife believed to belong to the Senegalese suspect was recovered from the Adda River near Spino d'Adda. Video surveillance from public cameras and private devices captured the confrontation, the stabbing and the suspects’ flight. The three have exercised their right to remain silent. A validation interrogation (convalida) before the GIP is scheduled for 15 July.
