Youssouf Fofana attracts Manchester United interest at Sevilla

Youssouf Fofana has become a key player for Sevilla FC following his arrival on loan from AC Milan. His strong performances have drawn significant interest from major European clubs, most notably Manchester United, which has reportedly sent scouts to monitor the French midfielder.

Fofana's transfer to Sevilla occurred after a failed move to Olympique Lyonnais last summer. Sevilla coach Luis Garcia Plaza noted that the deal materialized late after registration issues prevented the player from joining Lyon.

Because Fofana's current loan agreement does not include an option to buy, he is technically scheduled to return to AC Milan at the end of the season. While his market value is estimated at approximately 20 million euros, his high salary may present challenges for any club seeking a permanent transfer.
