Youssouf Fofana completes last-minute transfer to Sevilla

French midfielder Youssouf Fofana has completed a last-minute transfer to Sevilla FC. The deal was finalized in the final hour of the summer transfer window, with Sevilla president José María del Nido Carrasco describing the move as a strategic acquisition to fulfill the coach's request for a defensive midfielder.

Fofana expressed his desire to be part of the club's rebirth and noted the intense effort required to close the deal. Regarding financial terms, the Andalusian club will cover 8% of his salary, allowing him to maintain the same wage level he received at his previous club.
